Wrexham have toasted three years of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney owning the club, with the Deadpool star saying it's been his "greatest" honour.

On Reynolds' Instagram story, he wrote: "Three years… just getting started. Knowing Rob McElhenney and the people of Wrexham has been the greatest honour of my life."
Since their takeover, Wrexham have won promotion to League Two — ending a 15-year stay in the National League — and Wrexham AFC Women reached the Welsh top-flight (Genero Adran Premier) last April as well. Both teams are flying this term, too, with the men's team fourth in the division and the women's side third in the league. Moreover, Reynolds and McElhenney have restored the community's pride in their football team once again.
Wrexham's men's team host Bradford City on Saturday, looking to get back into the automatic promotion spots, and the women's side, who are now semi-professional following their ascent into the Welsh top-flight, take on Cardiff Metropolitan Ladies on Sunday.
