Greenwood’s debut season with Marseille saw him better some club legends, including ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. A collection of match-altering performances helped to deliver Champions League qualification.
Interest is said to have been attracted from across Europe, with La Liga heavyweights Barcelona and Atletico Madrid reportedly keen on the former Getafe loanee, but Marseille have no intention of parting with a player that they have tied to a contract through to 2029.
