Chelsea legend Petr Cech made his debut for Elite League ice hockey team Belfast Giants in a massive 5-1 win over Glasgow Clan.

He has had previous stints with Guildford Phoenixand Chelmsford Chieftains as a netminder — who plays a similar role to a goalkeeper in football.
Cech would hope to shine in his new avatar with the Giants when they take on Nottingham Panthers tomorrow at 4 pm UK time.
